The Sicilian Frugalista: The Sicilian Frugalista Dictionary

My words and idioms and what they mean:

reuse- When I use this word I am referring to recycling something into a new item, or I am redoing that item so it has a continued life, or I am making it into several new purposes.

Frugalista:

as defined in the New Oxford dictionary "a person who lives a frugal lifestyle but stays fashionable and healthy by swapping clothes, buying secondhand, growing own produce, etc."

As William Safire in the NY Times says 'This could become the nom de guerre of the 'recession warrior'.

A 'recession warrior' I have always been under the preferred job description title of 'Domestic Engineer'. This is my version with a spoon full of witt, twist of common sense, and a lathering of facts, quips and inuendo.

Wife, Mom, farmer, chef, gardener, repurposer, homemaker, designer, builder, painter, dumpster diver and too many other hats to mention. Because I'm 'The Sicilian Frugalista' I also don't own one for each job.
